VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — Vanderburgh County deputies say they arrested an intoxicated driver during a traffic stop where three young kids were in the back seat.

Around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies say they spotted an SUV heading down Fares Avenue before turning several times with no turn signal.

Deputies stopped the driver and identified him as 34-year-old Manuel Sic-Camaja. They say they could smell a strong odor of alcohol, and that there were four empty beers and four unopened beers in the vehicle.

VCSO says three small children were in the back seat, but that only one of them was secured in a car seat, even though all three should have been.

After taking field sobriety tests, authorities say Sic-Camaja blew a 0.254 on a breath test. They say he also agreed to a blood
