EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A "career criminal" from Evansville has been sentenced to federal prison for drug and gun crimes.
Troy Ogburn of Evansville has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for drug trafficking and firearm possession.
Ogburn, 44, pleaded guilty to charges including possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Authorities told 44News that the DEA Evansville Resident Office and Evansville Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force began investigating Ogburn's operation in October 2024. They suspected he was selling large quantities of drugs from his apartment.
