CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tenth Judicial District Attorney General Stephen Hatchett, who represents Monroe County, reacted to the killing of Iryna Zarutska in a Facebook post Tuesday.
“The video of the killing of Iryna Zarutska, an innocent young lady simply trying to get home, has shocked the nation but it is not shocking to law enforcement professionals at all,” Hatchett said in a post on Facebook. “There are warning signs and risk factors that increase the likelihood of crime occurring and sadly this killing has pretty much all of them.”
