Kosciusko High School went into lockdown Thursday morning after receiving a called-in threat regarding a potential shooting.
According to school officials, law enforcement was immediately notified, and precautionary measures were taken to protect students and staff. As an added safety step, all other schools within the Kosciusko School District were also placed on lockdown.
Authorities have confirmed there is no active danger at this time. An investigation is underway to determine the source of the threat.
District officials emphasized that the safety of students and staff remains the top priority.
