Josh Jacobs got his second season with the Green Bay Packers started with a decent rushing line of 66 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. But after Green Bay’s 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions, head coach Matt LaFleur said it was what Jacobs (and his backfield mate Chris Brooks) did without the ball that impressed him the most.
Speaking about their efforts in pass protection for quarterback Jordan Love, LaFleur said it was the “best I’ve seen in my time here.”
