Rusted Rake Brewing in Nanoose Bay took home four reader's choice awards from the Growler's craft beer and cider awards.

The brewery tied for first place in the best beer category for its Wandering Scotsman’s Spruce Tip IPA.

Rusted Rake was named the "unsung hero", as the best brewery outside of metro Vancouver and Victoria.

It also received first place for the best food program and a second place nod for best specialty IPA for its Spruce Tip IPA.

Readers chose from lists across different award categories, after panel of beer and cider experts nominated their favourite beverages from across B.C.
