A Georgia woman faces a manslaughter charge after allegedly providing a deadly dose of fentanyl to another person in DeKalb County, Alabama.
According to newly filed court documents, 29-year-old Vanessa Taylor Whitmoyer is accused of supplying fentanyl to the victim on Monday, who then died just a day later "as a proximate result of its use."
A warrant for Whitmoyer's arrest was obtained Wednesday.
