From bringing his tour of college campuses to Tuscaloosa and his mentorship of two young conservative activists, slain right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk had several connections to Alabama.

Kirk, 31, was shot and killed while speaking at a university event in Utah. His death sent shock waves throughout the country and prompted condemnation from both sides of the political aisle.
