FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - RDO Equipment, a company with over 80 locations with headquarters in Fargo, has reportedly laid off 36 people.
According to an email sent to employees from Company President Chris Cooper, the company conducted a reduction in force of team members who support the equipment business in field support roles.
Cooper notes that: “For more than a year, market and economic conditions have been very challenging, particularly in the ag sector.” He goes on to say that, “as our business has declined and the market remains soft, we need to adjust our staffing levels to align with both our current and future needs.”
RDO had a similar round of layoffs last month, cutting 2% of their employees in early August, affecting 17 people.
