Lifeguard Stand Location Update for Nags Head

Starting Saturday, August 16, there will be fewer lifeguard stands in service.

Town of Nags Head

Ten stands will remain in place through Labor Day:

Abalone

Bonnett

Hollowell

Enterprise

Epstein

Forrest

Gulfstream

Hargrove

Indigo

Juncos

Daily mobile units (trucks and ATV’s) will be based on available staff.

Yellow – Medium hazard. Moderate surf and/or currents are present. Weak swimmers are discouraged from entering the water. For others, enhanced care and caution should be exercised.
