COLUMBIA — Lamont Paris wasn't holding walk-on tryouts but one potential player still caught his eye.

Comedian Adam Sandler stopped by South Carolina's basketball workouts on Sept. 10 before he played a show that night across the parking lot at Colonial Life Arena.

In town as part of "You're My Best Friend" tour, Sandler, a noted basketball junkie who is often splashed across social media playing pickup games, posed for pictures with some of the Gamecocks.
