GREENVILLE — A civics teacher at Southside High School is on administrative leave after allegedly posting on Facebook that America “became greater” in the wake of conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
The post was captured in a screenshot and boosted by conservative social media accounts that were, in turn, boosted on X by South Carolina governor candidates and U.S. Reps. Ralph Norman and Nancy Mace.
In the post — since taken down — the account whose owner is identified as “Wynne Bo” of Greenville offered “thoughts and prayers” to Kirk’s children before adding, “IMHO America became greater today. There I said it.”
