MOUNT PLEASANT — A man seen on video breaking into a Harbor Watch home has reportedly been identified after he was arrested in Jasper County on unrelated charges, police said.

Mount Pleasant police announced Sept. 11 they intend to charge John Albert Williams III, of Jacksonville, Fla., with first-degree burglary and weapon possession offenses.

Williams is alleged to be the man seen carrying a gun and walking into a Mount Pleasant home at about 3 a.m. on Sept. 5.

Williams, 29, was identified after Hardeeville police arrested him 12 hours later in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins in the Hilton Head Lakes and Argent Boulevard area of the city in Jasper County, according to Hardeeville police .
