A doctor accused of making sexual advances to a 76-year-old Sterling Heights woman in her home, then masturbating in front of her when she rebuffed him, was convicted in Macomb County Circuit Court.

Stephen Bruce Mason, 54, of Detroit, was found guilty Sept. 10 of aggravated indecent exposure and assault in the 2024 incident after a two-day trial, according to online court records. The jury deliberated for one hour before convicting Mason, the county prosecutor's office said in a release Sept. 11.
