A driver was injured in a Thursday afternoon accident when his Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck went off a highway and hit a tree. It happened shortly before 3:00 on Highway 96 just south of Recreational Road 255.

The man was transported by ambulance to Jasper Memorial Hospital.
