One driver was undergoing treatment at Jasper Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and another was said to be at large following a two vehicle auto accident that occurred on Thursday evening west of Jasper.
The volunteers of the Beech Grove Fire Department were dispatched to the location about two miles west of Jasper at County Road 138, shortly before 10:00 when it was reported the crash had occurred.
A firemen at the scene said the driver of a late model Hyundai SUV said he was headed east on Highway 190 when he suddenly saw an oncoming westbound vehicle coming across the centerline.
The driver of the Hyundai said he swerved to the right to avoid a head on collision. He said the oncoming car, which he described as possibly black with big headlights, struck the drivers side of his car,
