HERMITAGE, Tenn. (WKRN) — More parking options are now available for people who want to enjoy Ravenwood Park in Hermitage.

According to Metro District 14 Councilman Jordan Huffman, the park now has new gravel parking spaces near the Stones River Greenway trailhead near the entrance of the park.

"These additional spaces make it easier for neighbors and visitors to access the park, walk the trails, and connect directly to the greenway," Huffman said of the new spaces in a Facebook post.

Huffman told News 2 he first heard of parking issues with the park last spring from a local homeowners association. Residents told Huffman they needed better and easier access points to the greenway, especially for those with certain mobility issues.
