Two adults were found dead Tuesday in a home in Pinewood Springs in an apparent murder-suicide.

Just after 4:30 p.m., Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of two deceased adults in a home on Deer Lane, according to a Larimer County Sheriff’s Office press release . The Larimer County Coroner’s office conducted an autopsy and found that both people died from gunshot injuries, the press release stated.

The autopsy also revealed that the 65-year-old woman’s death was attributed to homicide and the 64-year-old man’s manner of death was suicide, the press release stated. It did not describe the deaths as a murder-suicide.

The case is under investigation, but the preliminary investigation does not show any threat to the community, the press release added.
