POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) -- It's likely going to take at least a month before any work can start to replace the popular "Graffiti Bridge" in Poland.
Thursday morning, Mahoning County Commissioners rejected the bids submitted to install a new pedestrian bridge that crosses Yellow Creek.
The county's Sanitary Engineer said the bids all came in significantly higher than the original estimates for the project.
The span was removed after its deteriorating condition made it no longer safe to cross. The project will now be re-advertised later this month.
