A Dover woman was sentenced to prison Sept. 10 after being arrested in 2024 on child abuse charges.
The woman was a former employee at a Hartly daycare.
She was charged with abuse of six infants ages five months to 14 months.
A Dover woman was sentenced to prison on Sept. 10 in Kent County Superior Court after pleading guilty to abusing infants at a Hartly daycare in 2024.
The sentencing of 26-year-old Kayla Manuszak follows an investigation into suspected abuse by the former employee at the Hartly Early Learning Academy, located at 21 North St. in Hartly.
After the investigation, Manuszak was arrested in February 2024, according to a report by the Delaware Department of Justice.
“It’s difficult to put the shocking and detestable nature of Kayla Manuszak’s crimes into words,” Delawar
