BUFFALO, N.Y. — The well below average rainfall is taking its toll on our area locally.
The latest U.S. Drought Monitor continues to show most of Western New York and into northern Pennsylvania are under Moderate Drought conditions .
The Moderate Drought conditions include cities such as Jamestown, Olean, Warsaw, Ellicottville, Franklinville, Bradford, Alden, Attica, Batavia, Albion, Lockport, Niagara Falls, Lewiston, Grand Island, Buffalo, North Tonawanda, and Amherst.
The rest of our area is still under Abnormally Dry conditions to include cities such as Dunkirk, Angola, Concord, Eden, East Aurora, and Wellsville.
