Community members will gather later this month to take a stand against the fentanyl crisis during the Walk for Lives, a fentanyl awareness event scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Flowood Nature Park Amphitheater.
Organizers say the walk is an opportunity to honor the lives lost to fentanyl overdoses and to show support for those still struggling. Participants are encouraged to wear black in memory of loved ones and lime green to show their support for awareness and prevention.
