EVERGREEN, Colo. — The 16-year-old Evergreen High School shooter repeatedly fired and loaded his handgun as he made his way through the school on Wednesday, shooting one student inside the school and another student outside, before ultimately taking his own life, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said on Thursday.

Jacki Kelley, with the sheriff's office, said on Thursday that Desmond Holly, the 16-year-old student identified as the shooter, was radicalized by an "extremist network." She did not specify what network.
