Friday night lights are about to shine a little brighter on Louisville’s West End.
After more than a decade on the sidelines, a storied rivalry is back. Central and Shawnee are suiting up once again for bragging rights as the “Best in the West.”
This matchup is about more than just touchdowns; it’s about bringing the community together.
It’s been 15 years since the two teams last faced off in the rivalry game. This Friday, the stands are expected to be packed as they renew the tradition.
“It has been years since they played, so I'm quite sure everybody's excited about it,” said Angela Blackmon.
