LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A man charged nearly two decades after a rape in Louisville will soon learn his sentencing.
George Aldridge has been found guilty of first-degree rape.
He was extradited to the metro in 2023 after being arrested for three sexual assaults in Lexington.
Kentucky State Police said DNA testing connected Aldridge to a 2005 attack in Louisville.
His sentencing hearing is scheduled for Nov. 5. The jury is recommending he serve 15 years in prison.
Aldridge is not eligible for parole or shock probation.
He will be sentenced in November.
