BELTON, Texas (KWTX) - Much of the country took the time to remember 9-11 only a day after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
On a day the whole country is remembering the events of 9/11, The owner of the Gin at Nolan Creek, Travis Trumbull, did his part.
“Never forget,” said Trumbull. “Honoring all those who not only who lost their lives that day but honor them and everyone who served since.”
As a retired Army veteran who joined the Army after 9/11, service is a big part of why he does it.
“Probably one of the most important things you can do for your country,” said Trumbull. “Not just as a service member but even a teacher, law enforcement, first responders, firefighter. It’s about being part of something bigger than yourself.”
