GREENFIELD, Ind. -- Greenfield police have arrested a man accused of directing threats at staff working at Hancock Regional Hospital on Thursday.

According to a news release, staff working at the hospital requested assistance from the Greenfield Police Department around 10:55 a.m. after receiving electronic threats from a man who was not physically present at the hospital.

The threats reportedly involved the use of a firearm and were directed toward employees and staff working at the hospital. As the investigation unfolded, GPD said officers soon identified 40-year-old Kevin McNamara as their primary suspect. They also determined that McNamara allegedly made the threats from his residence, which was located in Hancock County.
