A ceramics exhibition featuring works by dialysis patients has opened in Alice Springs.
Several years ago patients waiting for treatment at the Purple House clinic were looking for ways to pass the time and decided to try something new.
"If you are off country and you are on dialysis three times a week, then you don't want to be spending your non-dialysis days waiting in waiting rooms for appointments or waiting for your next dialysis day," Purple House chief executive Sarah Brown said.
"You want to be having some fun and learning new skills.
