GREENFIELD, Ind. — A Greenfield man is behind bars after allegedly making threats toward Hancock Regional Hospital Thursday morning.
According to a release from the Greenfield Police Department, around 10:55 a.m. on Sept. 11, officers were called to the hospital located at 801 North State Street , on a report of threats involving a gun reportedly being made toward hospital employees and staff.
Police say the threat was "provided electronically" to the hospital by someone who was not at the site.
Officers investigated the threat and confirmed the suspect was not on the hospital campus at the time of the threat, nor were they still there after the threat was made.
