LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Where can you actually go on the Las Vegas Loop? Excitement surrounding the innovative Tesla-in-a-tunnel concept has given way to a waiting game since the first station on the Strip opened more than three years ago at Resorts World.

And news that a worker was injured Wednesday night serves as a reminder that it's a major construction project that's happening largely out of public view. Not just because it's underground, but also because of sparse public information on a project that has generated a lot of interest.

When this all started, it was truly a loop built specifically to serve conventioneers. Now, it's branching out.

Currently, the tunnels provide service to four sites: • The Las Vegas Convention Center, a sprawling campus served by a 2-mile circular tunnel
