FISHERS, Ind. — Last season, Fishers knocked off crosstown rival Hamilton Southeastern not once, but twice during the IHSAA football season.

The first came during the annual "Mudsock" game between the two schools in which the then-unranked Fishers Tigers stunned the then-No. 5 Hamilton Southeastern Royals with a 37-35 victory.

The Tigers then followed that up with another narrow victory over the Royals in the sectional championship game.

Now, on the heels of their 3-0 start to the season, Hamilton Southeastern is determined not to allow history to repeat itself.

Coincidentally, HSE enters Friday night's game ranked fifth overall in Class 6A while Fishers, again, is unranked. Further adding to the coincidence, last year, HSE was 3-0 through the first three games while Fishers was 2-1
