(FOX40.COM) — A suspect was identified and arrested on Thursday following the homicide on Aug. 14, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

36-year-old Jonathan Brito was located and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. Authorities said Brito faces homicide related charges.

Around 1 a.m. on the 1200 block of 13th Avenue, officers located a man in a vehicle with at least one gunshot wound, SPD reported. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by fire personnel.
