SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Nearly 100 people attended the first Entrepreneur Spotlight event in Springfield, organized by Living Local 413 and Common Capital.

The event aimed to connect small business owners with resources and service providers in the local business ecosystem. Organizers plan to hold similar events monthly to support local entrepreneurs.

"Trying to bring together entrepreneurs and wanna-be entrepreneurs with service providers in a small business ecosystem," said Raymond Lanza-Weil, President of Common Capital.

Bill Cole, President of Living Local 413, stated, "We also have programming and stuff to help those people and give them resources and help them find resources really easily."
