Weather during the opening days of the Oklahoma State Fair will be hot, but not terrible.
The Oklahoma State Fair kicked off Thursday, Sept. 11, and runs through Sept. 21.
Many of the fair's attractions are inside and climate-controlled, but the outdoor attractions are some of the most popular. As fair-goers walk through the carnival midway or watch open-air concerts this weekend, Oklahoma City will see high temperatures in the low 90s.
There's not much chance for rain in the forecast, especially for OKC. But meteorologists with the National Weather Service said parts of western Oklahoma could experience overnight showers on Saturday.
On Sunday, Sept. 14, northern and central-western Oklahoma will have a chance of rain that will decrease during the afternoon.
