WILLIAMSPORT — A Florida security firm has dropped its appeal of workers’ compensation death benefits awarded to the children whose mother and a co-worker were killed in Williamsport in 2024.

Security Alliance of Doral, which provided security at Lycoming Engines, fought the decision of Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Judge Debra Matherne awarding benefits to the four children of Alisha Charee Seese of Williamsport.

She and Ronald E. Dailey Jr. were fatally shot after their 10 p.m. shift as security guards ended on Jan. 11, 2024.
