Watertown High School's soccer teams kicked off the final two-week stretch of their regular-season schedules on a good note Sept. 9.
The Arrows posted 4-3 (girls) and 4-1 (boys) Eastern South Dakota Conference wins over Mitchell in games played at the Allen Mitchell Athletic Complex.
Watertown's girls (4-4 overall, 3-3 in the ESD) are currently 10th out of 20 teams and Watertown's boys (5-2-1, 3-2-1) 11th out of 21 teams in the state Class AA standings. The top 16 qualify for the playoffs, with the eight securing home playoff games in the first round.
