DEXTER, Maine (WABI) - Dexter Police reported Thursday night that Kirt Cookson had been found safe after being reported missing.

The Dexter Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Police say Kirt Cookson, 35, was last seen Tuesday on foot on Christopher Road in Dexter near the Armory.

He was wearing a black hoodie, white shoes, and dark colored jeans.

Police do not believe he has a phone with him.

If you have any information on Cookson’s whereabouts, you’re asked to call Dexter Police at 924-7622.
