LINCOLN, Maine (WABI) - Member’s of Maine’s forest products industry hit the links Friday to help support Maine kids in need
The Professional Logging Contractors of the Northeast held its Northern Maine Golf Tournament at JaTo Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln.
The PLC holds two golf tourneys a year to benefit Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in our state.
Their tournament in Lovell raised $55,211 for the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland.
The goal at the tournament in Lincoln was to raise more than $63,000.
Funds raised have helped Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor put a new state of the art ambulance on the road.
