NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — Norwalk police say a Hamden man was charged with allegedly stealing items- including firearms- from nearly 100 storage units last year.
The investigation started on July 1, 2024, when officers were dispatched to report of a commercial burglary at CubeSmart on Bouton Street.
Police learned 89 storage units had been entered and numerous items were stolen.
During their investigation, detectives obtained multiple search and seizure warrants, analyzed hours of video recordings, and worked with other law enforcement agencies to identify suspects.
This lead them to 35-year-old Tylon Gardner, who they obtained an arrest warrant for in July.
