ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTNH) — A man from Brooklyn, New York was arrested Tuesday for his participation in an "elaborate fraud scheme," according to police.
The suspect, identified as Dmytro Olkhovski, had been impersonating a federal agent and collecting cash from a victim under false pretenses, according to police. The victim was defrauded a significant sum of money over several months.
Olkhovski was charged with first-degree criminal attempt larceny and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
