SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Governor Spencer Cox detailed evidence recovered from the scene of Charlie Kirk's assassination including inscriptions on bullet casings.

Shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 10, Tyler Robinson arrived on the campus of Utah Valley University in a grey dodge challenger.

A tip from a family member led investigators to messages from Robinson about retrieving a rifle from a "drop point" that was left wrapped in a towel in bushes.

Messages indicated that Robinson had changed outfits and left his rifle along with multiple shell casings on the north end of Campus Drive at UVU.
