148th conducting flying training through next week

DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Don’t be alarmed if you hear some loud sounds in the sky through the end of next week.

The 148th Fighter Wing will be conducting flying training with Minnesota National Guard state partners from the Royal Norwegian Air Force, Luftforsvaret.

Residents near the Duluth International Airport and in northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan will hear both Norwegian F-35 Lightning II and 148th Fighter Wing F-16 Fighting Falcons through the end of next week as part of this training.
