DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A man was arrested after allegedly making threats to shoot the windows of Laura MacArthur Elementary School on Thursday.

According to the Duluth Police Department, the threats were made at approximately 6 p.m.

Officers responded to the man’s home in the 5500 block of West 6th Street and arrested a 72-year-old Richard Neault for pending threats of violence charges.

A search warrant was executed at his home, and a shotgun and an SKS Assault Rifle were seized, along with various ammunition.
