Micron summer interns give a glimpse inside company’s size and culture: It’s ‘their own little city’

Onondaga, N.Y. -- As a high schooler, Nick Hay used to fix cars. But now, he’s learning how to repair the machines that make Micron Technology computer chips.

This summer, Hay interned at Micron ’s fabrication plant in Manassas, Virginia, an opportunity he landed in part through Onondaga Community College’s new workforce development academic programs .
