CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland police officers uncovered a dead body late Thursday inside a home.

Officers were called out around 8:50 p.m. to the 12100 block of Angelus Avenue in the Union-Miles neighborhood.

They were there to conduct a welfare check.

Officers say when they went inside, they found a woman who was deceased.

Her body is now with the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner, according to police.

Her name was not released.

Police have not said if her death is considered suspicious.
