You might see some local faces while watching the next season of “The Pitt.”

A casting call put out by Movie Casting PGH received such a large volume of responses that the window to apply appears to have quickly closed, per a Friday Facebook post from the Pittsburgh-based business, which noted the “handful of” September shooting days are now fully booked. The post promised updates should other opportunities arise.

“Thanks for your overwhelming response for ‘The Pitt,’” the post said. “We know everyone is really excited to participate on such a wonderful show.”

The Friday announcement followed a call for background actors for Sept. 17-19 on the social platform, which was reported by KDKA-TV Thursday night and appears to have been deleted.
