LINCOLN, Neb. —

The University of Nebraska released a plan to reduce its budget by up to $27.5 million through the elimination of some programs and modification of others.

In a letter Friday, Chancellor Rodney Bennett proposed cutting six programs: Community and Regional Planning; Earth and Atmospheric Sciences; Educational Administration; Landscape Architecture; Statistics; and Textiles, Merchandising, & Fashion Design.
