A video shown during a Congressional hearing this week is said to depict a U.S. military Hellfire missile trying but failing to shoot down a glowing orb — a UFO? — off the coast of Yemen.

The video, from Oct. 30, 2024, was captured by a U.S. Reaper drone. A second Reaper drone apparently fired the Hellfire missile at the object, which appears to bounce or swerve away from the missile and continue flying as the missile also continues on its path. It is unclear whether the missile hit the target and glanced off or simply missed.
