WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Eisenhower High School in Goddard went into a short lock-out Friday morning after a student reported a possible gun on campus, according to Goddard School police.

Police said a high school student received a message from someone believed to be an Eisenhower Middle School student, claiming that another student had brought a gun to school. The high schooler reported the message to a teacher and left the classroom.

School administrators and the school resource officer quickly began investigating. Over the intercom, students and staff were told to remain in their classrooms while police searched the building.

No gun was found, and investigators determined the threat was not credible.
