Lothian Road and Shandwick Place in Edinburgh have re-opened following two separate crashes.
Edinburgh Live brought you coverage when two incidents took place on Lothian Road and Prices Street just an hour apart from each other.
Around 5pm on Friday, September 12, police received a report of a crash involving an ambulance which hit a traffic light on Lothian Road at the junction with West Approach Road.
A paramedic was later taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. No patient was on board the ambulance when the incident occurred. The paramedics were on their way to an emergency call when the crash took place.
